As a wedding photographer, it is important to respect and work well with other vendors, particularly the videographers.

They are covering the wedding too so it’s important to introduce yourself, respect their work (hopefully it is reciprocated!), and communicate before the formal events begin. Let them know where you plan on standing and vice versa. This is especially important for events such as the first look, ceremony, first dance, and cake cutting.

It’s crucial to communicate and works MUCH better for everyone instead of fighting for space and/or standing in the way with complete disregard for the other.
