Carla is my adventure buddy. She is so open, go with the flow, and a YES person. 🙂 We go on a lot of little adventures and this is my first official installment of the Adventures of C4 (as in Carla Choy and Christine Chang). Very Captain Planet if I do say so myself.
On our way back to LA we decided to drive through highway 152 because it’s been raining a lot and the hills are greener than ever! The lake is also fuller than I’ve ever seen. My family and I used to take this route down to LA all the time and the lake was always so sad looking. Right now it is topped off and full of life!
Carla and I had our cameras ready and looked for a place to stop and take pictures. There was a lot of barbed wire and private property along the way, but then we saw a sign that said “Dinosaur Point.” We didn’t know what it was but it sure sounded neat!
(*Tires screeching to a halt). We slammed on the breaks and drove down the road to Dinosaur Point to find . . . a gem! No dinosaurs though.
Wondering if my sausage of a dog could make it across the water.
Lots of jumping and hair whipping that afternoon. High on life!
Picture wars. “No, I’M gonna take a picture of YOU. . .”
Sammie was in heaven.
“The hiiiiills are alive . . .”
