Keep Inspired by Shooting Film: Road Trip to Central CA

One of the best ways to keep inspired with photography is to occasionally shoot film (if you don’t already).

Here are some pictures taken on a recent road trip to Central CA with my girlfriend Caroline.

Film used: Kodak Portra 400

Left: Pumping gas in the morning.  She just woke up. Don’t ask me how she looks so fabulous.  Right: Staples from Trader Joe’s.

Lunch in Santa Barbara.

Cayucos.

We named him Bobby.  He was the poor loner kid.  Didn’t want to play with any of the other horses.  I think our pep talk helped.

Madonna Inn.

My new set of goblets.  Or as I like to call them, my krunk cups.

Hearst Castle.  SUCH A COOL PLACE!  We wanted to go for a swim but they fine you $750.  Swim at the Hearst Castle and get in trouble for it…. That might be on my list of things to do.
