I GOT A NEW LENS! I’ve been wanting the 100mm f/2.8 lens for a long time because it makes it ridiculously EASY to take high quality detail shots.
My mom has an insane garden. This woman is OBSESSED with pretty plants, so I decided to go there and practice using my new toy.
All taken with Canon 5D MKIII + 100mm f/2.8 IS lens.
My dog wasn’t as excited as I was. She just wanted to pee on everything.
To give you an idea of how awesome this lens is, the green succulent below (bottom left) is only 2 inches wide.

Can’t wait to start using this at weddings. Perfect for rings, jewelry, and any other details you may have to photograph.
