Our family adopted a new dog and I’m annoyingly obsessed with her.
My mom and her partner found her at the San Jose Humane Society. I can’t imagine who wouldn’t want her – she’s one of the most loving dogs I’ve ever met.
This was the day she was brought home and my niece met her for the first time.
Her name is Patch and my niece’s name is Paige.
Paige & Patch. 🙂
She’s a 10 month old American Staffordshire Bull Terrier and all she wants is to be included with the family. She literally wants to be next to someone all the time.
Welcome home Patch!
If you are thinking about getting a dog and you have time, there are so many GOOD dogs available for adoption! Petfinder.com is a great place to start looking.
I also recommend going into the local shelters. What I’ve learned is that you tend to know which is your dog when you meet them. You can’t always be too practical and specific with what you think you want. The big things like allergies, temperament with kids, etc. are very important, but the little things like color, breed, exact size . . . sometimes they don’t look how you think they would.
You feel it. It’s like meeting your soul mate. 🙂
