Capturing My Why: Perspectives From a Successful Wedding Photographer

This photo was from a wedding last weekend.  It’s the quintessential of why I love what I do.

The bride had just gotten married at the chapel.  She was getting into the car to go to the reception when one of her best friends yelled out something charming (I forget what, but it’s something a BFF would say).  She turned around, gave this look, and then got in the car.

I didn’t have to say, “Hey, look over there and smile.  This is going to be a great photo!.”  This is a REAL moment created by two friends, and I got to be there to capture it.  When her grandkids see this, hopefully they will connect to it because it shows who she is.

That lights me up.
