Drumroll please…

MY SIS IS HAVING HER FIRST BABY!

Photographing my family is a combination of fun, easy, difficult, and annoying.

Our conversation as my sis was getting ready for the shoot, putting on a big (like REALLY big), feathery head piece:

Hubby:  Aw HEEEEYLL no. Please don’t wear that.

Sis:  What?

Hubby:  You look like Jack Sparrow.

[She turns to look at me]

Me:  Don’t wear it.

Sis:  Really? You don’t think it’s cute for a maternity shoot?

Me:  It’s kitschy.

Sis:  What does that mean?

Me:  It means you’ll regret it in a few years.

She opted for a classic brim hat instead (Phew…hehe).

Doesn’t she look radiant?!  🙂
